On March 11th 2010 Babyface gave birth. The litter consisted of one cream girl, Caterwaul's Only the Lonely. We have decided to keep her, more information via "Females".

There is a reason for us not breeding so frequently. Kittens take up nearly all of my time during the 3 months after their birth. Some of my older cats are none too keen on kittens. I’m responsible for their well-being. They are my friends, they were there first and I don’t want them to feel left out or neglected. They are not second-rate citizens!
So therefore we need long periods of rest between litters. Sometimes there is an almost audible sigh of relief from my older cats when the babies leave!
The other advantage of having few litters is the fact that when kittens are expected at last, we are looking forward to them very much and ready to give them all attention required. It’s not a routine thing, they surprise us time and time again.
