With twin speed-300 ducted fans.

This is a relatively small, light weight, low wingloading,
good looking model aircraft, ment to have fun with on those long,
calm summer evenings.

The yet unpainted model.

It handles very easy, is not very fast, but fast enough for good looking
scale speed. There is power enough for a looping, or inverted flight.
Stall is very gentle and straightforward.

Now all this sounds good. But to achieve a good power to weight ratio the batteries should not be to heavy. So I started testflying with a six cell pack sanyo N-600AA, just because I had these cells. Performance was good ehough, but I was not too happy with the 3 to 5 minutes flying time. Next I tried a 7 cell pack N-500AR, but with 3 to 5 minutes the flying time was about the same. After that I tried 6 cells sanyo KR-1400AE. Finally the flying time was where I wanted it with 7 to 10 minutes. Power performance is a little less compared to the 7x500 pack, but the 6x1400 pack is ideal for cruising around at slow speed.
